Free Months Do Not Line Up With Nebraska's Cycle
A clean Nebraska registered agent setup for $99 per year. You get the office address on file, scanned legal mail, and compliance reminders ahead of state deadlines.
Bias declared first: we are Nebraska Registered Agent.co, we do this job for $99 a year, and we would rather do it than watch somebody else do it. Bizee's pricing here comes from a July 2026 review of what the company publishes.
The Bundle Is Not a Gimmick
Bizee was Incfile before the rebrand. Buy a formation package and agent service is included at no charge for a while: three months at the entry tier, as many as twelve on the highest one. If a formation was already happening, take the free months. Coverage you were going to pay for anyway is money.
The standalone rate afterward is $149 a year.
Nebraska Runs on 24-Month Blocks
Nebraska LLCs do not file an annual report. They file a biennial one, odd-numbered years only, inside a window running from January 1 through April 1, at $25 electronic plus a small portal charge or $30 on paper. The schedule sits at Neb. Rev. Stat. § 21-125(b). Whichever odd year arrives first after your formation year is the one carrying your first report.
Now hold Bizee's free window against that block. Three months, or six, or twelve, measured from your formation date. Twenty-four months, measured from an odd-numbered year. The two schedules have nothing to do with each other, which produces outcomes that are entirely a matter of when you happened to sign up:
- Organize in March 2026 on the three-month bundle. Paid billing starts in June 2026. Your first report is not due until the window opening January 1, 2027. You paid Bizee for two full quarters before Nebraska asked you for anything.
- Organize in October 2026 on the twelve-month bundle. Free coverage runs to October 2027. Your first report falls inside that window, so the entire compliance event happens while the service costs nothing, and the invoices begin afterward with nothing on the calendar to justify them.
Neither case is anybody's fault. It just means the free stretch is priced by package tier, not by your Nebraska obligations, and it should not be read as covering a compliance cycle. It covers a marketing period.
After That, Fifty Dollars a Year
Ready when you are. Ordering takes about five minutes.
Order Here$149 against $99 is $50 annually. One hundred per Nebraska report cycle. Five hundred over a decade. The statutory work is identical either way, because Nebraska's requirements for an agent do not vary by who you hired.
One thing $99 is not is the smallest number in this market. That belongs to BetterLegal at $90 a year. Ours is in the same low band and identical on every renewal we send.
Our Side, in Five Lines
- Nebraska street address on the public file, standing in for yours
- Same-day scans of whatever is served, emailed to you
- Report reminders keyed to your own odd year, not a generic one
- Secure portal, full document history
- $99 now, $99 at every renewal, no tier above it
Bizee Off, New Agent On, in Nebraska
Nebraska moves the appointment with one change statement, taken in by the Secretary of State's Business Services unit at $25 online with a small portal fee added or $30 in writing, and our change of agent page covers every field plus the order to work them in.
That order is the whole trick. Appoint the replacement before the statement goes to the state, since Bizee holds the role until the filing is recorded. Do it that way and the coverage transfers on one date, cleanly. Do it backwards and your company spends time with no one in Nebraska authorized to accept a summons for it.
Mark the Date Yourself
Ready when you are. Ordering takes about five minutes.
Order HereNobody sends a warning before a bundled period expires. Find the end date in your Bizee account, put it in a calendar, and decide before the first $149 rather than after. Nebraska charges $25 to act on the decision either way.
Report timing is covered in detail on our biennial report page.
